Situated at a height of 1834m in the Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria, the Kehlsteinhaus - also known as the "Eagle's Nest" - is an architectural marvel with an interesting history. This site provides an historical overview of the building of the Kehlsteinhaus and the stunning access road, custom maps and plans, and a small lightbox image gallery.
